Canadian Country Star Jason Blaine Releases New EP October 23

Toronto, ON – Multi-award-winning country artist Jason Blaine is set to return October 23 with a new EP entitled Go With Me, his first release via eOne since the 2015 release of his album Country Side

Produced by Danick Dupelle (Emerson Drive, Tebey), the new material builds on what Blaine has always done best: telling stories of home, love and nights on the town, while at the same time performing them in a style that’s made him one of Canada’s most distinctive voices in country music. Along with earning a Canadian Country Music Association award for Single of the Year (2012’s “They Don’t Make ‘Em Like That Anymore”), Blaine has won three SOCAN Awards and written hits for Madeline Merlo, Chris Jansen and others.

"The title track of this EP, Go With Me, really tells the story about two people chasing a dream together along the journey of life," said Jason Blaine. "For me, a lot of dreams have come true over my career, both personally and professionally. This EP is a snapshot of life, love, home and good times with friends along the way."

Originally from Pembroke, Ontario, Blaine moved to Nashville in the fall of 2006 with his wife Amy and their three-month-old baby girl. He burst onto the scene in 2007 with his first #1 single, “Rock In My Boot,” the first of 11 further Top 10 smashes, paving the way for tours with Tebey, Chad Brownlee, Deric Ruttan, and appearances at major festivals across North America. To date, Blaine’s music has racked up over 10 million combined digital streams and 50,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

Settled with three more additions to his brood, Blaine has become a reliable source of great songs for the Nashville publishing industry. His success has also allowed him to give back to his community in Pembroke through the annual Jason Blaine Celebrity Charity Golf Classic, which over the years has attracted fellow artists such as Dallas Smith, Tim Hicks, Chad Brownlee, Aaron Pritchett and Gord Bamford, as well as hockey legends Doug Gilmour and Bryan Murray. It’s helped raise over $500,000 for various charities in the Ottawa Valley.

At the root of it all is Jason Blaine innate talents to sing, write and entertain. His love for country music has taken him to the forefront of the Canadian music scene where he has remained for over a decade. About Jason Blaine

At the root of it all, Jason Blaine was born to sing, write and entertain. His love for country music has taken him to the forefront of the Canadian music scene where he has remained for over a decade. With over 12 Top 10 singles in Canada including hits such as “Country Side” and “Friends of Mine”, he has also become a craftsmen of hits for other people including Chris Jansen, Parmalee, Petric and Madeline Merlo and others.

Originally from Pembroke, Ontario, Blaine moved to Nashville in the fall of 2006 with his wife Amy and their three-month-old baby girl. He burst onto the scene in a big way in 2007 with his first #1 hit single “Rock In My Boot” which led to multiple CCMA nominations and paved the way for a string of hit singles and major festival appearances across the country.

Perhaps the biggest game changer came in 2012 when he released the biographical “They Don’t Make ‘Em Like That Anymore”, which was written for his grandfather. The song was one of his biggest hits connecting with fans of all generations and eventually went on to win CCMA Single of the Year that same year.

In between releasing hit songs and co-headling tours with Tebey, Chad Brownlee and Deric Ruttan, Blaine also found time to start up his annual Jason Blaine Celebrity Charity Golf Classic. Over the past five years, fellow artists and hockey legends ranging from Dallas Smith, Tim Hicks, and Gord Bamford, to Doug Gilmour and Bryan Murray have all contributed to helping raise over $500,000 for various hometown charities in Pembroke.

Now, a multiple CCMA, SOCAN & CMAO award winner with over 20+ radio hits, six full length albums, over 8 million digital streams, and Jason still feels like he’s just getting started. Writing full time within Nashville’s publishing community, Jason resides in Hendersonville, Tennessee with his wife Amy and their four children balancing music and family life.
